IRMCO FLUIDS® 980-323K has been developed with additional components compared to the proven 980-323 series, while maintaining the fundamental principles that position IRMCO as a producer of oil-free lubricants for sheet metal stamping.
IRMCO FLUIDS® 980-323K was developed with the aim of filling a gap in the sheet metal stamping market: creating a clean lubricant capable of handling heavy forming operations and high production volumes on steel sheets, including stainless steel.
IRMCO FLUIDS® F980-323K has delivered strong results in stamping structural automotive components such as car frames, suspension frames, steel wheels, and seat structures, as well as applications in the production of household appliances and domestic goods.
It is a highly versatile lubricant, delivering excellent results on both polished and unpolished steel surfaces with tensile strength ranging from 200 MPa to 780 MPa.
Many of these excellent results have been achieved on stainless steel alloys commonly used in the automotive and household appliance industries, demonstrating remarkable flexibility in application methods, at a relatively low cost, also considering the low lubricant concentration required in water.
